The safety thermostat should no longer be activated by the user if it has been switched off due to overheating of the device or lack of water. This egg cooker works like a bain-marie: the resistance is placed under the tub, an aluminum plate spreads the heat all over the bottom of the water bowl and a temperature limiter ensures a safe cooking process.
